St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School, a Voluntary Academy

My daughter has been at St Mary's for 4 years now and I've been thoroughly impressed with the school's commitment to its values and the way the staff and teachers genuinely care for each pupil. The facilities are excellent, especially the Forest School area, and I've loved attending the parent-teacher meetings to see how my child is progressing. Highly recommend!

My son has been at St Mary's for a year now and while I appreciate the effort the staff put into making the pupils feel welcome and supported, I've noticed some inconsistencies in the way the school is run. For example, I've had to chase up missed homework on several occasions and the school's communication with parents could be better. That being said, the school's mental health initiatives and Eco-Warriors program are great and my son loves his PSHE lessons. I suppose it's a work in progress!

I have two children who attended St Mary's and they both thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment. The school's Catholic values really shone through in the way the staff and teachers helped my children develop their faith and empathy for others. My children are now in secondary school and still talk about the amazing experiences they had at St Mary's. Thanks to the whole St Mary's team!
