"Excellent school with a nurturing environment"

My daughter has been at King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls' Academy for a few years now, and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed with the school's values of scholarship, character, and community. The staff are caring and supportive, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. We feel so lucky to be part of this community.

"Holistic education and excellent pastoral care"

As a parent, I appreciate how the school focuses on developing the whole child - academically, socially, and personally. The pastoral team is dedicated and responsive, and my daughter has thrived under their guidance. The High Performance Learning approach is also a unique selling point.

"Good, but some room for improvement"

My daughter attended King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls' Academy a few years ago, and while I liked the emphasis on community and character, I felt that the teaching could have been more engaging at times. The facilities are great, and the pastoral team is wonderful, but I think the school could benefit from more parent-teacher communication.
