Blackpool Gateway Academy is a school packed full of lifelong learning, tucked away near Blackpool Football Club. We are a school that promotes independence and hope that all our pupils become ‘life-long learners’. We are committed to nurturing a learning environment where every child feels seen, valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

"Fantastic school with an amazing community!"

We have been part of the Gateway Academy family for 3 years now and can honestly say it's the best decision we made for our child. The values and ethos of the school align perfectly with our own and the staff are truly dedicated to helping our children grow and thrive.

"Excellent phonics program and lovely staff!"

Our child was struggling with reading when we joined Gateway Academy, but thanks to the Read Write Inc phonics program, they are now reading confidently. The staff are always approachable and supportive, and we feel very lucky to be part of this community.

"Great school with a focus on individual needs"

We've been impressed with the way the school caters to our child's specific needs and interests. The staff are always willing to listen and adapt to help them succeed. We're grateful for the sense of community and support we've found at Gateway Academy.

"Mixed feelings about our time at Gateway"

We had a good experience at Gateway Academy, but there were some issues with communication and consistency. The staff were generally lovely and our child made some great friends, but we did feel that some of their needs weren't being met. Perhaps with some improvements, this could be a 5-star school.
