Willoughby Academy is a specialist Academy for pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a diverse range of highly complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We offer a balanced mastery curriculum with a focus on developing communication, independence, skills for living and skills for life.

"Exceptional Education for My Child"

My daughter has been at Willoughby for two years now and we couldn't be happier. The school's commitment to individualized learning has helped her thrive and she absolutely loves the Forest School program. We feel so lucky to be part of the Willoughby family!

"Positive Experience"

My daughter loves going to Willoughby and the teachers are always friendly and approachable. We appreciate the variety of activities and programs available, such as the Makaton Sign of the Week. However, we've had some issues with communication and would like to see improvements in this area.

"Supportive Environment"

My son has been at Willoughby for a year now and we've noticed a significant improvement in his confidence and social skills. The school's emphasis on communication and independence is exactly what we were looking for, and the staff are always available to offer support. We're grateful for the Willoughby community.

"Wonderful Experience"

We moved to the area and my son was a bit hesitant to start at a new school, but the welcoming staff and facilities at Willoughby put him at ease. He loved the Hot Spa and sensory integration suite, and the teachers were incredibly supportive. We have wonderful memories of our time at Willoughby.
