About The Bishop of Winchester Academy

The Bishop of Winchester Academy is a Church of England academy that serves families of our local community who want their children to be educated within a distinctly Christian ethos. We aim for all our young people to live out our mission statement ‘Sapere Aude’- Have the Courage to be Wise.

"Some initial teething issues"

We're still getting used to the school, but we're hoping for a better year ahead. Our child is still adjusting to the new routines and expectations, and we've had some difficulties with communication and organisation. However, the staff seem committed to helping us work through these issues, and we're hopeful that we'll see significant improvements as the year progresses.

"Excellent school and environment"

We moved to Bournemouth last year and were worried about our child settling into a new school. But The Bishop of Winchester Academy has been a perfect choice. The facilities are top-notch, the teachers are caring and dedicated, and the values of the school align perfectly with our own. Our child is thriving here and we feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school.

"Impressive progress and supportive community"

We've seen our child make incredible progress since joining The Bishop of Winchester Academy. The staff are always available to offer support and guidance, and the sense of community is fantastic. We've been impressed by the school's commitment to helping students achieve their full potential, and we're grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a positive and uplifting environment.

"A happy and nurturing environment"

We were part of the Bishop of Winchester Academy community for several years, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Our child thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment, and we were constantly impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of the teachers. While we've moved on to a different part of the country, we still keep in touch with friends and maintain a strong connection to the school.
