About Helmdon Primary School

A co-educational, state-maintained, village primary school catering for children from the ages of 4-11 years, who live in Helmdon or surrounding villages and the local town of Brackley. Happiness, Perseverance and Success are the essence of our ethos: we know that happy children learn best and we promote their happiness through kind and caring relationships with others.

"A Wonderful School Experience"

I couldn't be happier with the education and care my child has received at Helmdon Primary School. The school's values of happiness, perseverance, and success truly shine through in the way the staff and teachers interact with the children. The facilities are also fantastic, with a lovely playground and a great library.

"Excellent School with a Great Atmosphere"

We've been thoroughly impressed with Helmdon Primary School. The teachers are supportive and enthusiastic, and the children seem to have a wonderful time learning. The school's focus on localism and diversity is also really important to us as parents.

"Good School with Some Room for Improvement"

We moved out of the area when my child finished at Helmdon Primary School, but we were generally pleased with the education they received. The school's Ofsted report was also very reassuring when we first started sending our child there. However, we did feel that the school could have done more to engage with parents and provide additional activities for the children.
