"Some mixed feelings about school"

We've had a bit of a mixed experience with Shirley Manor. On the one hand, the school's focus on values and community is great, and our child has enjoyed the sports clubs and after-school activities. On the other hand, we've found some of the teaching to be a bit hit-or-miss, and we're not entirely convinced about the effectiveness of the school's approach to phonics.

"Shirley Manor is a fantastic school!"

We've been so impressed with the school's focus on values like kindness, tolerance and friendship. Our child has thrived in reception and year 6, and we've loved seeing the school's diverse community come together. The SCARF workshops and Diwali celebrations have been particularly wonderful!

"Lovely nursery and friendly staff"

We've been really pleased with the nursery at Shirley Manor. The staff are so welcoming and caring, and our child has loved playing and learning with the toys and resources. We're looking forward to seeing how they progress through the school.

"Excellent curriculum and staff"

My child had a great experience at Shirley Manor and I was so impressed with the curriculum, which really prepares children for life in modern Britain. The staff are dedicated and caring, and the school's focus on moral and spiritual education is excellent.
