About Whetley Academy

Whetley Academy is a larger than average school for children between 2 and 11 years, with places for up to 710 pupils. We are extremely proud to serve a diverse community with families from different ethnic backgrounds. Along with the support of our parents, carers and families, our staff are dedicated to ensuring all children reach their full potential.

"Mixed Feelings"

We had a positive experience at Whetley Academy, but there were some aspects that didn't quite meet our expectations. The teaching was generally good, but the facilities could be better maintained at times. The staff were friendly, but communication with parents could be improved.

"Outstanding School Experience!"

My daughter is thriving at Whetley Academy. The teachers are dedicated, the facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the sense of community is fantastic. We've been impressed by the focus on inclusivity and diversity, and the extracurricular programs are a great bonus.

"A Home Away from Home!"

My son has settled in beautifully at Whetley Academy. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the school's commitment to social-emotional learning is evident in everything they do. We appreciate the regular updates on his progress and the opportunities he's getting to develop new skills.
