About Breckland School

Breckland School is a school for children aged between 11 and 16 and is located in the small market town of Brandon in West Suffolk, very close to the Norfolk Border. Our principle aim is to prepare the children for next stage of their lives.

"Exceptional school with amazing values"

I'm so impressed with Breckland School, my daughter has thrived here. The school's focus on providing a broad and balanced range of subjects, along with the annual ski trip, has really encouraged her to try new things. She's developed so much confidence and made great friends. I feel proud to be part of this community.

"An outstanding school with dedicated staff"

My son loves attending Breckland School, the teachers are always supportive and go the extra mile to help him understand the material. The enrichment opportunities, such as the international trip to France, are a great bonus and really help him learn new things. I'm grateful for the school's commitment to providing high-quality education.

"A school that truly cares about its students"

I've been really impressed with the school's approach to student well-being, my child has received great support with their mental health. The school's commitment to providing a stimulating curriculum and enrichment opportunities has helped them develop into a confident and capable individual. I appreciate the school's focus on preparing students for the next stage of their lives.

"Good school, but some areas for improvement"

We moved to the area a few years ago and decided to send our children to Breckland School. Overall, we've been happy with the experience, but there have been a few concerns with communication from the school. The facilities are great, especially the sports hall, and the teachers are mostly supportive. I think the school could improve in terms of keeping parents informed about their child's progress.
