About Mountnessing Church of England Primary School

We are a small village school and care very much for our pupils, as a pupil once said, ‘we are small, but we have big hearts’. We believe that every child should receive the best possible education and we foster a learning environment in which our children become responsible, thoughtful and independent individuals.

"Our Happy Experience at Mountnessing"

We've been so impressed with Mountnessing Church of England Primary School. The Forest School program has been a game changer for our child, teaching her to take risks and develop a love for nature. The values of friendship, thankfulness, and perseverance are evident in everything they do. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school!

"Excellent Education and Care"

As a former parent at Mountnessing C of E Primary, I can confidently say that my child received an outstanding education and care. The staff are dedicated, kind, and go above and beyond to support each child's unique needs. The outdoor space is a haven for creativity and exploration, and the Christian values are woven throughout every aspect of the school.

"A Good, but Not Outstanding Experience"

We've been relatively happy with Mountnessing C of E Primary, but there are areas that need improvement. The school tours were informative, and the headteacher is approachable. However, we've experienced some inconsistency in teaching quality, and the school's expansion plans have caused some disruption. Overall, it's a good school, but not outstanding.
