About Middlezoy Primary School

Middlezoy and Othery are two, small schools situated in the heart of the beautiful Somerset Levels. Our ethos is 'To be the best we can be', whilst developing a love of learning and inspiring our children to become life-long learners.

"Outstanding School!"

I've been blown away by the quality of education and care at Middlezoy Primary. My son is in year 5 and has really flourished here. The teachers are expertly trained, and the values of the school are reflected in everything they do. I'm so grateful to have found this amazing school!

"Amazing School!"

I'm so impressed with Middlezoy Primary, my son is in year 3 and absolutely loves going to school. The teachers are caring and supportive, and the facilities are top-notch. The Christmas production was so much fun to watch, and I love how the school values kindness and compassion.

"Mixed Feelings"

We've had a decent experience at Middlezoy Primary so far, but I do have some reservations about the level of support for children with special needs. The teachers are generally friendly and approachable, but I feel like they could do more to engage parents in the learning process. The facilities are lovely, though!

"Lovely School!"

My daughter attended Middlezoy Primary a few years ago, and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers were supportive and engaging, and the school community was warm and welcoming. We loved the focus on kindness and empathy, and the facilities were always well-maintained.
