We are a small school in rural West Dorset. We nurture all members of our school family to be happy, self-confident and supportive of one another. We want each person to flourish in their lives within school, the local community and beyond.

"Fantastic school with caring staff!"

We've had a wonderful experience at Marshwood CE Primary Academy. The staff are so caring and supportive, and the facilities are excellent. My child loves attending the school and is thriving in their learning.

"Great community feel with plenty of opportunities"

We were part of the Marshwood CE Primary Academy community for 3 years and loved the sense of belonging. The school's values of kindness, respect and friendship shone through in everything they did. Our child excelled in music and sports, thanks to the excellent facilities and coaching.

"Mixed feelings about the school"

We're still finding our feet at Marshwood CE Primary Academy, but there are some things that have disappointed us. The facilities are excellent, but we've had some issues with communication and organization. Our child seems happy and is settling in well, so we're hoping things will improve.

"Excellent teaching and learning environment"

Marshwood CE Primary Academy has exceeded our expectations in many ways. The teaching is superb, and the learning environment is stimulating and engaging. My child has made great progress and is confident in their abilities.
