"Excellent Start to Secondary School"

We've been delighted with the welcome at Thorns Collegiate Academy. The staff are warm and friendly, and my child has settled in quickly. We appreciate the emphasis on wellbeing and the support for victims of domestic violence through Operation Encompass. The facilities are impressive and the school's values align with our own.

"A Great Education and Support"

We've been impressed with the school's focus on innovation, collaboration, and respect for all. My child has thrived in the KS3 Achievements program and the staff have been very supportive. The facilities are modern and well-maintained. I'm grateful for the sense of community here.

"Good and Bad Experiences"

We had a mixed experience at Thorns. Our child enjoyed the Young Voices program and the school's anti-bullying initiatives. However, we felt that communication with teachers and the school office could be improved. Overall, it's a good school with some excellent staff, but there's room for improvement in certain areas.
