About Culverhill School

Culverhill School is a special school that provides a high-quality and holistic education for 140 pupils with complex learning difficulties aged 7-16. Our curriculum is a balanced mix of academic subjects, vocational, life-skills and employability learning, personal development and emotional health and well-being support. We aim to equip our children and young people for healthy, happy, fulfilling, independent lives and the skills to gain meaningful work as they become young adults.

"Mixed Experience"

While my child has had a generally positive experience at Culverhill School, there have been some issues with communication and consistency. The school's staff are generally caring and dedicated, but there have been some instances of inconsistency in the way certain issues have been handled. I appreciate the school's commitment to providing a holistic education, but I would like to see more opportunities for parent involvement in school events.

"Inspiring and Nurturing Environment"

As a parent of a Year 9 student at Culverhill School, I have been consistently impressed by the dedication and passion of the staff. The school's values of Inspire, Nurture, and Thrive are genuinely lived and breathed every day. My child has made tremendous progress and has developed a love for learning that has been a joy to witness. I highly recommend Culverhill School!

"Excellent Support for Children with Complex Needs"

As the parent of a child with complex needs, I have been blown away by the level of support and care provided by Culverhill School. The school's commitment to providing a holistic education that meets the individual needs of each child is truly impressive. My child has thrived in a safe and inclusive environment, and I couldn't be more grateful. One area for improvement would be to ensure that there are more opportunities for parent involvement in school events.

"Life-Changing Education"

I am so grateful to have sent my child to Culverhill School. The school's staff and facilities are top-notch, and the school's values of Inspire, Nurture, and Thrive are genuinely lived and breathed. My child made tremendous progress and developed a love for learning that has stayed with them. I would highly recommend Culverhill School to any parent considering a special school for their child.
