About Winterbourne Academy

We aim to build an inclusive, welcoming school where all belong and can achieve their best. We are academically ambitious for all our young people and are proud of our exam results, with 54% of Year 11 students gaining at least one Grade 7 to 9 in 2025 and 98% gaining at least 5 GCSEs.

"Overall Good Experience"

We've had a good experience at Winterbourne so far. The teachers are knowledgeable and the enrichment programs are really engaging. However, we've had some issues with communication from the school and the facilities could be improved. Overall, we're happy with the progress our child is making.

"Excellent School Experience"

We've been at Winterbourne Academy for 3 years now and it's been an amazing journey. The staff are supportive, the facilities are great and the PRIDE values really do shine through. My child has thrived here and we're so grateful for the opportunities they've been given.

"Fantastic Support for My Child"

I have nothing but praise for Winterbourne Academy. My child attended the school for 6 years and the support they received was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure they had the best possible chance of success. We're so grateful for the education and experiences they had.
