Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni is a Welsh-medium comprehensive secondary school located in Fleur-de-Lys, Blackwood, Caerphilly. Founded in 1981 with just over 100 pupils, it has grown to approximately 1800 students across two campuses: Gellihaf near Blackwood and Y Gwyndy in Caerphilly. The school serves a wide catchment area in the Rhymney Valley and is the only Welsh-medium comprehensive school in the Caerphilly borough. It offers education for students aged 11 to 18, with a strong emphasis on Welsh language and culture, and a curriculum that includes A/AS level and vocational courses.
