About Lakeside Nursery & Primary Academy

We are a two form entry school where we cater for children from 2- 11 years old. We are fortunate to have our own onsite nursery- Little Ducklings- which provides outstanding provision for the youngest members of our community.

"Wonderful school with caring staff!"

We've been at Lakeside for 2 years and it's been an incredible experience. The staff are so caring and supportive, and the facilities are excellent. My child loves the 'Thrive' program and the after-school clubs.

"Good but could be improved"

We've been at Lakeside for a year now and overall it's been a good experience. The staff are friendly and the facilities are nice. However, I do think there could be more activities for the older children and sometimes the communication could be better.

"Excellent early years provision"

We were blown away by the Little Ducklings nursery at Lakeside. Our child thrived in the early years and the staff were always available to offer support. The 'Zones of Regulation' program was particularly helpful.
