About The Galfrid School

We are a one form entry primary school situated to the south-east of Cambridge serving the Abbey community and beyond. Our children tell us they feel happy and safe and that they enjoy school. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and believe that every child, irrespective of background and starting point, can and will be successful in their learning.

"Best school ever!"

We absolutely love The Galfrid School! My little one is thriving and making friends easily. I love the emphasis on kindness and respect - it's so refreshing to see these values being taught.

"Room for improvement"

We're generally happy with The Galfrid School, but there have been a few issues with communication from the headteacher. Also, the playground could do with some updating. However, the teachers are great and our child is learning a lot.

"Excellent curriculum"

I'm really impressed with the curriculum at The Galfrid School. My child is learning so much and it's great to see them applying what they've learned in a practical way. The teachers are always available to discuss progress too.

"Wonderful school experience"

My child attended The Galfrid School from reception to year 6 and had an amazing experience. The teachers were supportive and nurturing, and the opportunities for extracurricular activities were fantastic.
