Brynteg Primary

Ysgol Bryn Teg is a primary school located in the heart of the Llwynhendy community near Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. It was established in 2005 following the amalgamation of Ysgol Yr Ynys Nursery and Infant School and Llwynhendy Junior School. The school building itself was constructed in 2007, providing a modern, safe, and spacious environment for children aged 3 to 11 years. The school includes 9 mainstream classes and a specialist Speech and Language Unit class for up to 12 pupils aged 7-11 years. Ysgol Bryn Teg emphasizes an inclusive and dynamic learning environment with a focus on the Welsh Curriculum's Inquiry Based approach, encouraging children to become ambitious learners, creative contributors, ethically informed citizens, and confident individuals. The school integrates local community and real-life experiences into its curriculum and promotes core values of respect, well-being, and independence.
