Abernant C.P. School

Abernant C.P. School was a primary school located in Abernant, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom. It served mixed-gender students from nursery to Year 6 and followed the British curriculum including the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The school was noted for its small size and rural setting. However, due to low pupil numbers, lack of leadership, high costs, and surplus places, the school was proposed for closure and officially closed on July 16, 2021. Prior to closure, it provided education with a focus on community and foundational learning in a rural Welsh environment.
