About Hopedale School

Hopedale School provides the best education for pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorder and/or cognitive and learning difficulties. We believe this can be achieved through a therapeutic approach centred around the individual needs of every child.

"A loving and supportive school!"

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Hopedale School for our child. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the therapeutic approach has made a huge difference in their confidence and happiness. The Operation Encompass program also gives me peace of mind knowing that the school is supporting vulnerable children.

"A good experience, but some room for improvement"

We've been at Hopedale School for a year now, and while it's been a positive experience overall, I feel like the school could do more to engage with parents. I've had to chase up a few things myself, and it would be great to see more regular communication about what's going on in the classroom. That being said, the staff are lovely and my child seems to enjoy going to school.

"A school that truly cares"

My child attended Hopedale School for 2 years and I was blown away by the level of care and support they received. The teachers were dedicated and passionate about their work, and the facilities were always clean and well-maintained. I wish I could have stayed at the school longer, but unfortunately, we had to move out of the area.
