The Boswells School is an extremely popular, academically successful, over-subscribed 11-18 school in Chelmsford, Essex that has an excellent reputation within the community. Our academic success makes us one of the highest achieving schools in Essex. We pride ourselves in providing our students with a high quality education, through innovative and inspiring teaching in the classroom and a wide-ranging extra-curricular provision that enables every individual student to flourish.

"Some Great Things, Some Room for Improvement"

I've been impressed with some of the things The Boswells School has to offer, such as the Sixth Form and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. However, I do think that the communication with parents could be better - it's not always easy to get information about what's going on. My child is generally happy and engaged, but sometimes finds the workload to be a bit too much.

"Excellent School with Amazing Facilities"

I'm so impressed with the facilities at The Boswells School. My son loves playing sports on the excellent pitches and the canteen food is always a hit with him. The staff are all very friendly and supportive, and the school's values really shine through in everything they do.

"Lifelong Learners - what a fantastic school!"

The Boswells School is an amazing place for my daughter to learn and grow. The staff are all passionate about their subjects, and the school's focus on 'Lifelong Learners' really shows in everything they do. She's made some fantastic friends and is already getting involved in lots of clubs and activities.

"A Great Place to Learn"

I have many happy memories of my time at The Boswells School, and I'm so glad to see that it's still going from strength to strength. The teachers were all very supportive, and the facilities were always well-maintained. I'm not sure if the school still offers the same range of extracurricular activities, but it was definitely a great place to learn.
