Welcome to Barnburgh Primary Academy, a vibrant and inclusive school located in Doncaster, on the borders of Rotherham and Barnsley. With approximately 220 pupils ranging from nursery to year 6, we are proud to be at the heart of our community.

"Generally a good school, but some issues with communication"

We've been pleased with the education our child has received at Barnburgh Primary Academy, but I have to say that we've sometimes struggled to get clear information from the school about what's going on. The school meals are also a bit pricey, but the menu is varied and the children seem to enjoy them. Overall, we're happy with the school, but there's room for improvement.

"Wonderful school with nurturing teachers!"

I've been blown away by the level of care and support given to my child during their time at Barnburgh Primary Academy. The teachers are kind, patient and really get to know the children. My child's confidence has soared and I'm so grateful to the school for their hard work.

"Fantastic school with a great community!"

We were so happy with our experience at Barnburgh Primary Academy. The school's values of courage, perseverance, respect, ambition and independence really shine through in the children and the teachers. We've kept in touch with friends we made while our child was at the school and it's lovely to see how the community supports one another.
