About Pheasant Bank Academy

Pheasant Bank Academy is a 7-11 junior school serving the area of Rossington that converted to academy status on 1st September 2011. We are a busy but friendly school with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

"Mixed Feelings"

I'm still getting used to the school, but there are some things that are really great. The curriculum enrichment activities are fantastic, and the teachers seem enthusiastic. However, I sometimes feel a bit disconnected from the school - they don't seem to have much communication with us, and it's hard to get answers to simple questions. I'm hoping this will improve as I get to know them better!

"Amazing Facilities and Staff!"

I've been impressed with the facilities at Pheasant Bank Academy. The classrooms are well-equipped and the playground is perfect for the kids to run around. But what really stands out is the staff - they're so supportive and genuinely care about each child's development. I feel lucky to have my child here!

"Best Decision I Ever Made"

I transferred my child to Pheasant Bank Academy last year and it's been the best decision I've ever made. The school's values of 'being the best we can be' really shine through in everything they do. The teachers are excellent, and my child has made such great progress - I couldn't be happier!

"Wonderful Experience"

I have mixed feelings about moving away and taking my child out of Pheasant Bank Academy, but the school's impact hasn't faded. They helped my child develop a love for learning and made the transition to secondary school so much smoother. The staff were always supportive and kept me updated on progress. Highly recommend!
