"A home away from home"

Hurtwood House has been a revelation for both my daughter and me. The staff are caring, the facilities are top-notch, and the emphasis on creativity and individuality is just what she needed. The extended project qualification (EPQ) has been a highlight, and I've seen her grow so much as a critical thinker. Highly recommended!

"A great launchpad to university"

I'm so grateful to Hurtwood House for providing my son with the perfect environment to thrive in his sixth form years. The academic rigour, combined with the creative freedom, helped him develop into a confident and articulate young person. He's now at university and doing fantastically well, thanks in no small part to his time at Hurtwood.

"Mixed bag, but some wonderful aspects"

While I love the ethos of Hurtwood House and the opportunities it offers, I do feel that my son is sometimes lost in the mix. The school is so large and vibrant, which can be overwhelming for some students. However, the teachers are generally excellent, and I've seen him flourish in his EPQ and art classes. With some tweaks, I think Hurtwood could be a truly exceptional school.
