About The Bridge Short Stay School

The Bridge caters for young people across Cheshire West and Chester who have been permanently excluded from other settings. We know that all of our students are unique, with a different set of circumstances and experiences that have led to their exclusion - a difficulty with their previous schooling is the only common factor that they all have. We seek, therefore to provide them a bridge from that challenging past to a brighter future.

"A life-changing experience"

I'm so grateful to have found The Bridge Short Stay School for my son. The staff are incredibly supportive and have helped him turn his life around after a difficult time in mainstream school. The facilities are excellent and the PHSE program has been a game-changer for him. We can't thank them enough.

"Outstanding school, outstanding staff"

The Bridge Short Stay School has been a godsend for my daughter. The staff are caring, qualified and truly dedicated to helping young people succeed. The school's values of empathy, respect and responsibility are reflected in everything they do. We're so proud of her progress and can't thank them enough.

"A mixed experience"

I have mixed feelings about The Bridge Short Stay School. My son had a difficult time when he first arrived, but the staff were supportive and helped him settle in. However, there were some issues with communication and consistency that we had to navigate. Overall, I think the school tries its best, but there's still room for improvement.
