About Theydon Bois Primary School

Theydon Bois Primary School is a community school serving a large suburban village on the north eastern fringe of Greater London. Our pupils are aged between 4 and 11 and taught in 11 mixed age classes from Reception to Year 6. We nurture and educate happy and inquisitive children in a purposeful, well-resourced and calm atmosphere.

"Excellent school with a loving atmosphere"

We've been so impressed with the way our child has settled in at Theydon Bois Primary. The values of thoughtful, enthusiastic, responsible, respectful, inclusive, friendly, inquisitive, and capable really shine through in everything they do. The staff are always approachable and my child loves going to school every day.

"Friendly staff and great facilities"

We've been really happy with Theydon Bois Primary so far. The staff are all very friendly and my child has settled in well. The school's facilities are also great, especially the playground and the library. We've been impressed with the variety of clubs and activities on offer too.

"Excellent preparation for secondary school"

My child attended Theydon Bois Primary several years ago and I was really impressed with the way they were prepared for secondary school. The curriculum is well-rounded and the staff are all very supportive. I've also been happy to see the school's values still shining through in all aspects of school life.

"Some mixed experiences"

We've had some mixed experiences with Theydon Bois Primary so far. My child has enjoyed their time in the classroom, but we've had some issues with communication from the school. The facilities are also not as modern as some other schools we've seen. Overall, it's been an okay experience so far.
