About Lime Wood Primary School

A very warm welcome to the Lime Wood Primary School website. Our school opened in September, 2023, to two Reception classes. We are part of the Erith Hills Quarry community and work in partnership with parents, carers, residents and local businesses.

"Love this school!"

We've been so impressed with the care and attention our child has received at Lime Wood Primary. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are excellent. We love the emphasis on values like kindness and respect, which are clearly modeled by the teachers.

"A great community feel"

We moved to the area recently and were worried about finding a good school for our child. Lime Wood Primary has exceeded our expectations - the teachers are supportive, the curriculum is engaging, and the community events are a great way to get to know other families.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We had a child at Lime Wood Primary for two years and had some mixed experiences. On the positive side, the music program is excellent and our child had a lot of fun in music lessons. However, we felt that the communication between teachers and parents could be better, and sometimes the school seemed a bit disorganized.
