Connah's Quay High School

Connah's Quay High School (CQHS) is an 11–16 mixed, English-medium, community comprehensive secondary school located on Golftyn Lane, Connah's Quay, Flintshire, Wales. The school aims to provide a caring community that encourages every child to achieve their full potential. It has undergone significant modernization, including a £2.3 million science, English, and music wing completed in 2002 and further redevelopment in 2018 with the rebuilding of the food and design wing. The school embraces Welsh heritage, recently initiating a house system named after Welsh heroes. CQHS focuses on improving teaching quality, pupil engagement, and promoting Welsh language, culture, and identity within its curriculum.
