Ysgol Llangaffo

Ysgol Llangaffo was a Church in Wales Voluntary Controlled Primary School located in the village of Llangaffo near Gaerwen on the Isle of Anglesey, United Kingdom. The school was founded in 1854 and served the local community for over 160 years. It was situated along the main road in the heart of the village. In 2019, Ysgol Llangaffo was closed as part of a consolidation effort that merged it with three other local primary schools to form a larger 'super-school' named Ysgol Santes Dwynwen in Newborough. The closure was part of a strategic move to modernize and improve educational facilities on the island. Following its closure, the school building was put up for public sale in 2021 for potential redevelopment or conversion, subject to statutory consents.
