About Gamesley Primary School

Gamesley Primary School and Gamesley Early Excellence Centre prides itself on being a happy and welcoming place to learn. Children can join the Nursery in the term after their second birthday and we also offer term-time wrap around care from 7.30 in the morning until 6.00m at night for all children after their third birthday. Our pupils are aspirational and want to achieve.

"Warm and welcoming school community!"

We have been so impressed with Gamesley Primary School from the moment our son started in Reception. The staff are caring, supportive and genuinely interested in the children's well-being. The school's focus on wellbeing and happiness is evident in everything they do, from the calming Early Years Department to the daily routines and activities. Highly recommend!

"Wonderful facilities and dedicated staff"

Our children had a great experience at Gamesley Primary School and we were so pleased with the facilities they provided. The playground and sports facilities are excellent, and the staff are committed to helping the children reach their full potential. We were also grateful for the wrap-around care provision, which gave us peace of mind as working parents.

"Room for improvement in communication"

We have been generally pleased with Gamesley Primary School, but have sometimes struggled with communication from the school. It would be helpful to have more regular updates on our child's progress and activities. That being said, the staff are friendly and the facilities are excellent. Our child loves coming to school and we appreciate the emphasis on wellbeing and happiness.
