Charles Read Academy

We're so pleased with Charles Read Academy! The transition from primary to secondary has been seamless, thanks to the helpful staff and welcoming atmosphere. My child loves the Masterclasses and has made some wonderful friends. We're grateful for the emphasis on values such as confidence and respect - it's clear that the academy is committed to helping students become their best selves.

We're generally happy with Charles Read Academy, but there are a few areas that need attention. The facilities are great, and the staff are generally very supportive. However, we've noticed that the homework can be quite heavy at times, and it would be helpful if there were more opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities outside of school hours. That being said, our child is happy and thriving, and we appreciate the academy's focus on academic excellence and personal growth.

Our daughter attended Charles Read Academy from Year 7 to 11 and had an outstanding experience. The teachers were always supportive and went above and beyond to help her achieve her potential. We appreciated the wide range of opportunities available, from music and drama to sports and outdoor activities. The academy's values of confidence, resilience, and ambition really did make a difference in her life, and we're grateful for the education she received.
