Waltham Gateway Academy

Waltham Gateway Academy is an inclusive mainstream primary academy located in Sunningdale, Grimsby, part of the Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust. It opened in September 2025 and serves children aged 4 to 11. The academy offers places initially for Reception (15 children), a mixed Year 1 and 2 class (30 children), and a mixed Year 3 and 4 class (30 children). It includes a Resource Specialist Provision called The Nest, designed to support up to 6 pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing bespoke support to help them transition back into mainstream education. The school emphasizes nurturing, support, and valuing every member of its community, with a curriculum designed to inspire creativity and curiosity.
