About Shalford Infant School

We are a small village school, with just four classes, providing education for children from two to seven years old. Our driving force is our vision of 'Enjoying Learning Together'. This can be seen every morning when the children rush into school with smiling faces, eager to learn.

"Our Shalford Experience"

We moved to Shalford Infant School from a much larger school and I couldn't be happier with our decision. The welcoming staff and nurturing environment have made our son feel so secure and confident. The 'Enjoying Learning Together' ethos is truly embedded in every aspect of the school.

"A True Community"

As a parent of a child who is about to move on to the local junior school, I can confidently say that Shalford Infant School has prepared them incredibly well. The school's values of 'Enjoying Learning Together' are genuinely lived and breathed by the staff, and our child has thrived as a result. We will miss the school dearly!

"Nursery to Reception"

We were initially drawn to Shalford Infant School for its excellent nursery program, and we were not disappointed! Our daughter thrived in the Acorn Class and made a seamless transition to Reception. The staff are genuinely caring and committed to each child's well-being.

"A Mixed Experience"

We have a positive experience of Shalford Infant School, but there were some issues with communication between teachers and parents. The school's focus on inclusivity and SEND support is a strength, and our child benefited from these initiatives. However, we felt that the school could have done more to engage parents in the school community.
