About Richard Taylor Church of England Primary School

Richard Taylor school was first founded in 1785 by the brothers Francis and Richard Taylor. Originally named Bilton Endowed School it moved to it’s current site in 1973 and was renamed Richard Taylor School. We are a thriving learning community where children learn Respect, Trust and Service in a safe and loving environment.

"Outstanding School Experience"

Richard Taylor School has exceeded our expectations. The Forest School Programme has been a game-changer for our child, and the staff's commitment to environmental projects is truly inspiring. Our child is thriving in this loving and supportive community.

"Some minor areas for improvement"

We're happy with the school's facilities and the enthusiasm of the teachers. However, we feel that the school could do more to involve parents in decision-making processes. Overall, it's a great school with some wonderful strengths.

"A Well-Rounded Education"

We were impressed by the school's dedication to Fair Trade and the opportunities for our child to develop their passions, such as music and gardening. The school's emphasis on values and community has had a lasting impact on our child's character.
