About Connor Downs Academy

Our academy is built within an attractive, village site overlooking the Towans of Gwithian. It is a very happy, inclusive and successful academy. Our high standards are sustained because staff, hub councillors, parents, carers and children work together in an atmosphere of mutual trust and care, respecting the distinguishing features of our local community.

"Excellent school with a strong focus on well-being"

I'm so impressed with Connor Downs Academy's focus on children's well-being and mental health. The school's values are also in line with our own and the staff are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment. My son loves attending the school and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

"Wonderful school with great facilities!"

My son has been attending Connor Downs Academy for two years now and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The school's facilities are excellent, the staff are supportive and the values they teach are in line with our own. I love the 'Good to be Green' reward system!

"Supportive teachers and great facilities"

My daughter has been attending Connor Downs Academy for a year now and I'm really impressed with the level of support from her teachers. The facilities are also excellent and the school's values align with our own. My only criticism is that the communication from the school could be better.

"Excellent education and community"

I was a parent at Connor Downs Academy for three years and it was a fantastic experience. The school provides a well-rounded education and the staff are dedicated to their students. The community is also very welcoming and inclusive.
