About Mengham Junior School

Mengham Junior School is a two form entry Junior School on Hayling Island on the south coast of England and we have up to 240 children between the ages of 7 and 11. We pride ourselves on being a school with a happy environment where children can successfully gain the skills and passion for a lifelong journey of learning.

"Great School with a Wonderful Community Feel"

We've been thoroughly impressed with Mengham Junior School. The teachers truly care about their students and the school fosters a positive community atmosphere. Our daughter loves the variety of clubs on offer, and we appreciate how the school encourages parent involvement.

"Excellent School, But Needs Some Improvements"

Mengham Junior School has been a great choice for my child. The staff are lovely and always willing to help. My child loves the after-school clubs and the library is amazing! However, I feel like they could improve on their communication with parents about school events. We also had some trouble navigating the website initially. Overall, we're very happy but there's definitely room for improvement.

"Great School, But Needs More Parental Support"

Mengham Junior School has been a good choice for our family. Our son enjoys the diverse curriculum and engaging teachers. However, we feel that the school could benefit from more parental involvement. It would be great to see more parents engaged in school events and volunteering opportunities.

"A Truly Outstanding School!"

My children attended Mengham Junior School and we couldn't be happier with the education they received. The teachers were dedicated, and the facilities are fantastic! We particularly loved the outdoor space and the sensory garden. Our kids always came home excited about what they learned that day. We highly recommend this school.
