About The Sue Hedley Nursery School

The Sue Hedley Nursery School is a Local Authority nursery situated in Hebburn. We currently have nursery provision from two to five years along with two SEND Resource Bases. We pride ourselves on providing a sequenced and ambitious curriculum that is broad, varied and driven by children’s interests and fascinations.

"Wonderful Nursery Experience"

We've been at The Sue Hedley Nursery School for a year now and it's been a game-changer for our daughter. The staff are friendly, caring and genuinely invested in the children's learning. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and the daily routines are well-organized.

"Excellent Care and Education"

The Sue Hedley Nursery School has exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the learning environment is engaging and stimulating. We're so impressed with the progress our child has made since starting here.

"A Loving and Supportive Community"

Although our child has moved on to primary school, we still appreciate the values and care that The Sue Hedley Nursery School instilled in them. The staff are dedicated to helping every child grow and develop, and the nursery's commitment to mental health and wellbeing is outstanding.

"Some Positive, Some Areas for Improvement"

We've had mixed experiences with The Sue Hedley Nursery School. Some of the staff are exceptional, while others can be a bit inconsistent. The facilities are generally good, but the daily routines can be a bit chaotic at times. That being said, our child has made some great friends and has learned a lot.
