About The Calder Learning Trust

The Calder Learning Trust is a through-school for pupils from ages 4-16. We aim for all our pupils and students to become confident, responsible and articulate young people. Our school values of Care, Commitment and Courage are woven through all that we do.

"Fantastic School Experience"

I'm so grateful to have my children at Calder Primary. The facilities are excellent and the teachers are always supportive. My children have thrived in a safe and inclusive environment, and the values of Care, Commitment and Courage are truly lived.

"A Great Community"

My son loves attending Calder High. The school's focus on academic, personal and spiritual development has made a big difference. The rewards and celebrations for good attendance and behaviour are a great initiative. We feel part of a close-knit community.

"Some Good and Some Bad"

We moved our children to Calder Primary a couple of years ago, and while they've made some great friends, we've had issues with some of the teachers and communication with the school. However, the staff are generally friendly and the facilities are lovely.
