About Sithney Community Primary School

Sithney Community Primary School is a small, rural school with a dedicated and enthusiastic team of friendly staff. The school has approximately 80 pupils on roll and is situated just over a mile from the centre of Helston. The staff work hard to ensure high standards in reading, writing and maths whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum for all.

"Great school with a focus on character development"

My child has been at Sithney School for a few years now, and we've seen a real growth in their confidence and self-esteem. The school's values of Living to Learn and Learning to Live really shine through in the way the staff support and encourage the children. The staff are always approachable and responsive to parents' concerns.

"Lovely school with a great community!"

We've been at Sithney School for a year now, and we absolutely love it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. My child is thriving in the Busy Zone - she loves the outdoor learning and playtime. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school.

"Mixed feelings about Sithney School"

Our child attended Sithney School for a few years, but we had mixed feelings about the experience. On the one hand, the staff were always friendly and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. On the other hand, we felt that the curriculum was sometimes too focused on testing and exams, and that our child didn't get enough creative freedom. Overall, it was a decent school, but not the best we've experienced.
