About Lothersdale Primary School

Lothersdale Primary School is a vibrant, nurturing school for children aged 4 to 11 years old. We have a close-knit community with around 108 pupils on roll and four classrooms: one class each for Reception, Year 1/2, Year 3/4, and Year 5/6.

"Wonderful Smaller School!"

We moved to Lothersdale Primary for the smaller class sizes and we couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff are so supportive and our child has thrived in their nurturing environment. The Eco Warriors program is a highlight for our child and we appreciate the emphasis on Fundamental British Values.

"Warm and Welcoming School"

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcome at Lothersdale Primary. The school's vision to nurture all hearts and inspire all minds is evident in everything they do, and our child loves attending. The school meals and uniform are also great!

"Excellent School and Community"

We moved to a different part of the country, but we still stay in touch with the friends we made at Lothersdale. The school's focus on well-being and mental health is impressive, and we appreciated the Parent Representatives who kept us involved in school life.

"Some Mixed Feelings"

We've had a mixed experience at Lothersdale, with some great teachers and some not-so-great ones. We appreciate the emphasis on British Values and the opportunities for extra-curricular activities, but sometimes feel that the school could do more to support our child's learning needs.
