About Fen Rivers Academy

Fen Rivers is a therapeutic SEMH Special School offering full time education and therapeutic support to up to 96 children aged between 5 and 16 years old. We focus on the whole child, encouraging self-awareness, emotional literacy, and community involvement. We are a United Nations Silver Rights Respecting School.

"A school that truly cares"

I've been impressed by the dedication of the teaching staff and the care they give to my child. The school's focus on therapeutic learning and emotional intelligence has been particularly beneficial. The school's commitment to children's rights, as a UN Rights Respecting School, is also commendable.

"A truly exceptional school experience!"

My child has been attending Fen Rivers Academy for 3 years now, and I've seen a significant improvement in their confidence and emotional well-being. The staff's commitment to their values of Pride, Passion, Partnership, Professionalism, and Positivity is palpable, and it's wonderful to see them in action. The facilities, such as the therapy rooms and sensory gardens, are also top-notch.

"A supportive and inclusive community"

Fen Rivers Academy has provided my child with a sense of belonging and support. The school's emphasis on emotional well-being and therapeutic learning has been particularly beneficial. The staff are approachable and responsive to our concerns.

"A good experience, but some challenges"

My child attended Fen Rivers Academy a few years ago, and while it was a good experience overall, there were some challenges with the curriculum and communication with teachers. However, the staff were generally supportive and caring, and the facilities were adequate.
