About Whitehouse Pupil Referral Unit

Whitehouse Pupil Referral Unit is a calm and friendly environment where pupils are happy and feel safe. Staff know the pupils well, and pupils respond positively to these strong relationships. By the time a pupil leaves the school, they are well prepared for either mainstream school or specialist provision.

"A safe and happy space"

Whitehouse PRU has been a haven for our child. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm and focused. I love the use of outdoor spaces, like the forest school, and the emphasis on social skills. Our child feels safe and supported, and that's all a parent can ask for.

"A warm and supportive community"

Whitehouse PRU has been a game-changer for our family. The staff are kind, understanding, and dedicated to helping our child thrive. I love the emphasis on character education and the variety of activities available. My child has grown in confidence and made great friends.

"A school that truly cares"

As a parent, it's heartening to see a school that genuinely cares about its students. Whitehouse PRU has a unique approach that addresses the whole child, not just their academic needs. I appreciate the involvement of parents and the sense of community. Our child has thrived in this environment.

"A great stepping stone"

We sent our child to Whitehouse PRU for a year, and it was an invaluable experience. The teachers were skilled at supporting our child's special needs, and the facilities were well-maintained. I appreciated the focus on mental health and wellbeing. Our child gained a sense of stability and made good progress.
