Oakfield Junior School

We have been so impressed with the values and ethos of Oakfield Junior. The staff are caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of their pupils. The curriculum is engaging and broad, and our child has loved the bikeability program and the visit to the British Museum. We feel so lucky to have found this school!

We have been thoroughly impressed with the learning experience at Oakfield Junior. The staff's commitment to the 5Cs of Courage, Caring, Cooperation, Curiosity, and Confidence has been outstanding, and our child has thrived as a result. The visit to Bignor Roman Villa was a highlight for our child, and the opportunity for residential learning at High Ashurst Outdoor Learning Centre was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We moved our child to Oakfield Junior a few years ago, and while the staff are lovely and the facilities are great, I feel that the school could do more to challenge our child academically. The enrichment programs are excellent, and our child loved the space-themed learning, but I worry that some of the teaching methods are too focused on fun at the expense of rigor. Overall, a good school, but not without its flaws.
