Charnwood Primary Academy is a proud member of Staffordshire University Academy Trust. We are a friendly, one form entry school fuelled by our motto: Inspire….Nurture….Achieve. We are a one form entry primary academy in Lichfield that caters for all children from 3 – 11 years old.

"A true gem of a school!"

We've been at Charnwood for 2 years now and have seen our daughter grow into a confident and kind-hearted individual. The staff are always approachable and supportive, and the facilities are excellent. I particularly love the emphasis on respect, independence, and dedication - it's clear that these values are woven into every aspect of school life.

"A wonderful community spirit!"

As a parent, it's wonderful to see the close relationships between the children, staff, and parents. Charnwood's wraparound care is also a lifesaver for working parents like me! My son loves the nursery and the 30 hours provision has been a game-changer for us.

"Charnwood changed our lives!"

As a former parent, I can honestly say that Charnwood Primary Academy changed our lives for the better. My child flourished under the care of the staff, and the values of respect, independence, and dedication still influence their behavior today. We will always be grateful to the school for its support and guidance.

"A few minor improvements needed"

We've had a great experience at Charnwood, and our daughter has grown into a thoughtful and responsible young person. However, I do think the school could do more to engage with local families who don't speak English as a first language. Additionally, the homework could be more varied and challenging at times.
