About Acorn Free School

Acorn is an extraordinary school that provides a unique, high-quality alternative education for young people who may not be succeeding in a conventional classroom environment. We work with children and young people through our therapeutic team to seek to understand why they are struggling to engage within a mainstream setting and give them strategies and support to aid their future success.

"Acorn School - A Safe Haven"

I was a bit apprehensive about sending my child to an alternative school, but Acorn has been a game-changer. The staff are caring, the facilities are great, and the values they instill in the children are wonderful. My child has flourished here, and I couldn't be happier.

"Acorn School - A Life-Changing Experience"

My son attended Acorn a few years ago, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience for him. The staff were incredibly supportive, and the programs they offered really helped him get back on track. He's now in college studying for a degree, and I owe it all to the team at Acorn.

"Mixed Feelings About Acorn"

I've had a bit of a mixed experience with Acorn. The staff are lovely, but the facilities are a bit outdated, and I've had some concerns about the curriculum. However, my child has definitely benefited from the therapy sessions, and the values they teach are really important. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to everyone, but it's certainly worked for my child.
