About The Barnes Wallis Academy

Barnes Wallis Academy is a small secondary school located in the rural village of Tattershall, Lincolnshire. We aim to provide each and every one of our students with the guidance and support they need to excel. We set high standards and expectations for our students and staff, demonstrated by our “Personal best, no excuses” philosophy.

"Fantastic school for our child"

We have been absolutely delighted with the Barnes Wallis Academy since our child started in Year 7. The teachers are knowledgeable, the facilities are excellent, and the sense of community is fantastic. The "Personal best, no excuses" philosophy really resonates with us and our child is thriving. We can't recommend the school highly enough.

"Mixed feelings about our experience"

We have mixed feelings about our experience at the Barnes Wallis Academy. While our child received a good education and the facilities are excellent, we felt that the school could have done more to support our child's pastoral needs. However, we do appreciate the school's commitment to excellence and the opportunities our child had.

"Outstanding education and values"

As a parent, it's wonderful to see our child grow and develop into a confident, well-rounded individual. The Barnes Wallis Academy has provided an outstanding education, with a strong focus on traditional values and a commitment to excellence. We are so grateful for the opportunities our child has had and the support we've received from the school.
