About Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Primary School

Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School is a Catholic school that aims to develop each child's potential through high quality teaching and learning. We have strong links with home and the parish and hope to develop these links further. Our vision is to ensure all our pupils enjoy their time at Our Lady's and develop the skills and knowledge required to become confident and enthusiastic learners.

"A wonderful school community"

I've been so impressed with the warmth and welcome my son has received at Our Lady of the Assumption. The staff are caring and dedicated, and the facilities are excellent. We feel lucky to be a part of such a close-knit school community.

"A great all-round school"

We've been really happy with the progress our daughter has made since joining Our Lady of the Assumption. The teachers are great at communicating with us and keeping us informed about her learning. We also love the values they're teaching her - 'believe, achieve, succeed' is really inspiring!

"A good school, but some room for improvement"

We had a good experience at Our Lady of the Assumption when our older child was there, but we did find the communication with teachers sometimes a bit patchy. The facilities are okay, but not particularly impressive compared to other schools we've seen. Still, it's a nice community and the staff are generally friendly.
