About Angel Oak Academy

We are a centre of academic excellence located in Peckham. Our school name is inspired by William Blake’s vision on Peckham Rye of ‘A tree filled with angels, bright angelic wings bespangling every bough like stars’.

"Excellent school with amazing staff!"

My son has just finished Year 5 at Angel Oak and it's been an amazing experience for him. He's grown so much in confidence and his academic skills have improved significantly. The staff are always supportive and enthusiastic, making the learning experience engaging and fun. I'm so proud to be part of the Angel Oak community!

"A true gem in South London!"

We've been part of the Angel Oak community for three years now, and I can honestly say it's been a game-changer for my children. They've grown so much academically and socially, and the staff have been incredible support throughout. The school's commitment to anti-racism and inclusivity is something that really resonates with me, and I feel confident that my children are learning valuable life skills at Angel Oak.

"Mixed experience, but lots of potential!"

I've been a bit disappointed with some aspects of Angel Oak, particularly the communication with parents. However, the staff are generally lovely, and my child seems to enjoy attending school. The emphasis on oracy is something I appreciate, and I've seen an improvement in my child's confidence in speaking in front of others. With a bit more effort on communication, I think this school could be truly outstanding!

"Lovely school with a great atmosphere!"

I was initially hesitant to send my child to a new school, but Angel Oak has been a wonderful surprise. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are so caring and attentive. My child loves attending school and has made some wonderful friends. The emphasis on anti-racism and inclusivity is also something I really appreciate.
