"“We are currently looking at Primary schools for our eldest daughter"

“We are currently looking at Primary schools for our eldest daughter. … I have been informed that neither of these schools require a child to be Christened or practicing Christians / Catholics.”

"“Our catchment primary school is C of E controlled"

“Our catchment primary school is C of E controlled. … It’s a good school, ofsted outstanding, above average everything etc. And I don’t disagree with the values of Christianity they teach (friendship, kindness etc). They have a collective worship everyday with hymns and prayers.”

"Some good points but room for improvement"

“Hi everyone, we have been allocated a C of E primary that seems very focused on religion and on bringing it into every subject. … It wasn’t one of our top choices, more a default really due to distance.”

"Has strengths and weaknesses"

“We live very close to a very good C of E school, however we are not religious, not interested in pretending to be and going to church for a year to try to get in… The school is very oversubscribed and has strict criteria about church going to be prioritised…”
